New BMW Crossover to Debut February 2016
BMW is one of the top luxury automakers in the world and they didn’t get there by putting off new, more powerful models. Coming February 2016, the German automaker will reveal the newest crossover on its lineup. If the current specifications are anything to go by, it looks like it should be one impressive vehicle.
First and foremost, the BMW X4 M40i will have a turbocharged 3L six cylinder inline engine under the hood. The standard for six cylinders is the V6. Either way, that engine pumps out 355 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque. Combined with the M-line’s twin turbo, that leaves the M40i delivering best-in-class acceleration with a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.
Part of the Sports Activity Coupe set, you can find a de-tuned version of the inline six engine in the M3 sedan and M4 coupe.
There’s no word on pricing just yet but it’s more than likely going to cost more than the current top trim. Price will also vary depending on added options.
We here at Orange County BMW can’t wait to see the newest addition to the BMW family!
